Objective of Central Alabama Avicultural Society, Inc.
(CAAS) CAAS was formed to promote, improve, educate, and create an
interest for our members, as well as the general public in the
proper care of birds in captivity.
Purpose of Central Alabama Avicultural Society, Inc.
1. To foster cooperation, communication, create interest and
understanding in the proper care of all birds in captivity.
2. To educate the public in proper care through articles in
our newsletter, program presentations, by group activities such
as producing shows and fairs in our area and taking tours of
places related to avian interest.
3. To financially contribute to research programs for the
betterment of aviculture.
4. To promote avian causes.
Monthly Meeting
Schedule
The members meet the second Sunday of each month
at the Montgomery Zoo Educational Department Building at 2:00 p.m. Please come
and visit us at the next meeting.
